Nominations:  

We are sending out a call for service to congregations to nominate devoted Lutherans for election at the Assembly to serve as Officers, Council Members or Committees. Serving in one of these capacities is a great opportunity to support the Lutheran Church and God’s work in our community. Nominees must complete and submit the enclosed Nominations Form to the Synod office. PLEASE NOTE to have biographical information included with their nomination, the enclosed completed Nomination Form must be received no later than Friday, May 12. Nominations will be accepted after this date, but biographical information cannot be included; only the nominee’s name will be listed. Once the Nomination is received in the Synod office, an email or written confirmation will be sent stating the position(s) of interest. Help the Allegheny Synod achieve our Mission Statement: “Rooted in the Gospel of our Lord, the Allegheny Synod inspires, encourages, and supports the church, in response to God’s call to gather around Word and Sacrament, and to scatter into the world to offer God’s gifts of love, forgiveness, care, justice, and mercy.”
