Youth Mission


ELCA/Allegheny Synod Youth Ministries are committed to working in partnership with synods and congregations to provide resources and programs that are consistent with our theological framework so that youth might be empowered to live out their Christian faith as leaders who:

   * are committed to a vision of the Kingdom of God that is inclusive of all people and celebrates the cultural diversity of God’s world;

   * understand themselves as part of the global village and their decisions and actions as having global implications;

   * are peacemakers and seek justice and seek to follow Jesus as servants.

The ultimate goal of this partnership is to strengthen youth ministry in congregations.
