AN EXCITING SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Below is a news release concerning a grant from the Lilly Foundation. The Allegheny Synod, in partnership with the Upper Susquehanna Synod and the Northwestern PA Synod has been granted $1.25 million for our program Go Tell It In The Mountains, as part of the Compelling Preaching Initiative. This is exciting news! We are grateful to our writing team: Nathan Pile, Kevin Shock, Bishop Emeritus Pile, Barb Pile, Judy Gotwald, Jake Jacobson, Karla Leiby, Lisa Barnes and Diane Bubb. Soon you will be hearing more about how you can be involved in this robust preaching initiative in our Synod.
